Popfuel is a membership-supported screenprinting studio which provides a full range of equipment for printing onto both textiles and paper. It is a cooperative, creative environment for people to explore the fun of screenprinting without the pain-in-the-butt factor of trying to do it on hobbyist equipment in their basements or apartments.
The way it works is that people become annual members of the studio and have full access to all the equipment needed to make great screenprinted stuff by hand, and is located in downtown Toronto in the Queen West neighbourhood, a favourite of artists and creative types.
The $395 membership fee includes a one-day training workshop in both the use of studio equipment as well as the theory and hands-on experience in making your own prints - that's a year's worth of access to a fully equipped, professional screenprinting studio for the cost of a weekend workshop. How can you beat that?
However, if you're just interested in learning how to screenprint, we also offer the same workshop we give members for $175, with the option of joining as a member afterwards for an additional $195. This option is perfect for beginners!
Please review our Frequently Asked Questions or contact us for more information.
If you're interested in becoming a member of the studio or in signing up for one of our monthly workshops, please fill in the form and select a method of payment for your $75 deposit, which goes towards either your membership or the one-day workshop.
